Learn the basics of quilting.  You will learn to measure and cut using a rotary cutter, acrylic ruler and cutting mat.  You will make a full size quilt top while learning to piece blocks and add borders using a sewing machine.

Learn more basics of quilting.  In this class you will complete twelve different blocks.  At each class you will be given two blocks to make and will learn a different quilting technique.  You will complete a full size quilt top while learning to piece blocks, add sashings and borders.  This class is beginner friendly and will expand on all that was taught in the beginner class and will teach you many tricks and techniques so you will be able to make all the quilts you dream of!

Mystery Quilt Weekend  $100 (Includes lunch and snacks)*    Diane

Spend your weekend quilting!  You will make a complete quilt top in two days.  This is a mystery class so you won’t know what your quilt is going to look like until it is almost done.  This is a great time, we usually have 4 or 5 people and your lunch and snacks throughout the day are provided.  You are given step by step clues to finish your quilt and when it’s done you will be amazed!  Come and join us for this adventure.

This star pattern is called the LeMoyne Star or the Lone Star and is usually difficult to machine piece, but, our guest instructor, Julia, will show you how it’s done the easy way!  She developed this pattern and is coming to our shop to share it with all of you.  Find time in your schedule to join her for one of her informative classes.  I have attempted this block several times and get so frustrated so I will see you in class.
