So many people ask for this class we have several opportunities for you to attend. Cindy is an excellent instructor and will have you quilting your quilts on your home machine in no time!

Beginning Quilting Class - 4 Hours Instructor: Cindy

Wednesday, 19 June - 10:00 am to 2:00 pm
Class is for the beginning quilter. Focus will be on learning to use rotary cutter, ruler, and cutting mat; maintaining a proper seam allowance; and beginning piecing techniques. You will learn how to follow a simple pattern and make a four-block pillow topper or wall hanging. You will learn how to strip piece your blocks, apply borders, and the use of cornerstones. For this beginner class you are welcome to use one of our sewing machines, rulers and rotary cutters so you can determine if quilting is for you without making a large initial investment in supplies.

For this Beginner Class, you are welcome to use one of our sewing machines, rotary cutter and ruler so you can see if sewing is for you without a large expenditure for supplies.

Spicy Spiral Table Runner (3 hours) Instructor: Jane

This unique table runner will be one you will make over and over again! A great gift for special people and, of course, one for your table. The fabric makes the runner, so have fun picking fabric you love. No quilting is required.
So very different and unique, this wonderful project will "spice up" the conversation at your table.

A supply list will be given at the time of registration for the class. If one is not available for any reason please leave your email address and we will provide one as soon as possible.
Basic sewing supplies are needed for class and consist of: Scissors, thread, rotary cutter, ruler, seam ripper, marking pencil, etc.
Unless specified, a sewing machine is required for every class. You may bring your own or rent one of Olde Towne Stitchery’s sewing machines. Let us know in advance and we will have one set up and ready for you on the day of class.
Each student must have a LEGAL copy of the pattern or book if there is one for the class.
Class starts on time, please have your materials and supplies and arrive 15 minutes prior to class so you can be set up and ready to begin.
We will certainly be glad to help you pick out fabric for your class, just please do so prior to the day of class.
Cancellations: A full refund (your choice of check or store credit) will be provided if Olde Towne Stitchery cancels the class for any reason. We know that things happen and schedules change, should you need to cancel we will issue store credit for the class fee as long as you cancel at least 72 hours ahead of your class. No refunds will be given if you cancel less than 72 hours before your class, but you may transfer the fee to a future class if at least 24 hours notice is provided.
Children and guests may not accompany you without registering and paying for the class.
Children under 12 are not allowed to attend unless it is a specific young people’s class.
